March 2024 Neighborhood Updates

Posted on: March 24, 2024

Hello, Spring! Below are a few updates/reminders as a follow up to our annual meeting discussions:

  • CCRs:  The HOA Board  communicated before, during and after the annual meeting (held on March 2), a request that residents review covenants and address issues. This week, neighbors who remain in violation were given official notice. We are sharing this information so neighbors are aware that the HOA is committed to upholding the covenants for the benefit of all neighbors.
  • Spring is here!  This is a great time to freshen up yards/flower beds and mulch/pine straw. The Beckenham Gardening Committee will soon begin work on the entrance. Volunteers are welcome – we will communicate dates soon.
  • The neighborhood speed limit is 20 mph. As the weather warms up, there are more children and adults on the roads. Please use caution at all intersections.
  • On Street Parking: To ease street congestion and allow neighbors, school buses, and service vehicles to pass safely, we ask neighbors to park in their garages or driveways, when possible.
  • Mailbox refresh: If you need to replace your mailbox, or part of it, here is the information for the approved mailbox for our neighborhood:  Carolina Mailboxes – Canterfield https://carolinamailboxes.com/collections/mailbox-systems/products/cs11. Several neighbors have also had their mailboxes repainted through a local service provider, Mike:  803-235-9806
  • Service/contractors:  A great way to find recommendations for contractors or other home service vendors is to search the BeckenhamFacebook page by topic.
  • Contacting the Board:  The best way to contact the Board is through the contact form on the website or via email: BeckenhamFortMill@gmail.com
